I miss when music like this meant everything, you know? This song is so beautifully crafted, especially the second verse: wonderful flowing list of resolutions interjected by Alexa’s insanely cute number (listing of resolutions) shouts, and the magnificent ascension from the violin under it all. Ahhhhhhhh. Too good.

His album really was a surprise. Like, someone actually did an album of “heartfelt indie” album that we all adored in high school, and it doesn’t sound dated, or tired, or predisposed to the “indie” that is pretty much dead nowadays.
