I mean, Tumblr isn’t a bad thing. Just make sure you’re living your life, instead of tumbling it away.

Not that you have noticed, but I haven’t been on tumblr in a super long time. What was something I would check every morning waking up and evening before going to bed is now something I hardly think about. Overall I recently found tumblr kinda silly, for what I used it for anyway. I feel pictures of pretty girls and whatnot are okay and everything, but there’s more to life (duh). I thought going on here would provide me constant inspiration by keeping up with cool random pictures and internet famous people, but I think it turned out to be holding me back (duh). Things sound so obvious and silly when laid out in text. If there’s anything in the world I think I will forever be moved by, it’s music. I used to be on a constant search for fantastic new or old sounds but that overall has dropped in the last couple years. In efforts to re-spark my spark for progression and things of actual substance, I’m gonna try to use this tumblr as a memo of things that I’m grooving/vibing/thrashing/getting vulnerable to. Hopefully you’ll find some new things you like (or old things you love).

So since finding the world of tumblr, this last week was really the longest I went without caring at all what went on in the little tumblr world. I quickly realized that SXSW is essentially the real life version of all the things I mostly see on tumblr which are:

- cute indie girls

- cute indie girls

- cute indie girls

- cool bands

- ofwgkta

Things in real life are so much nicer.
